trinity hall boat house
The refurbishment and remodelling of a listed boat house to provide upgraded rowing club facilities and new indoor training tank. The works to the grade II listed building provided improved workshops and changing facilities along with rationalising the layout of the club for use as a modern training facility. The proposed extension is to provide a state of the art training tank and gym. Energy use throughout the building was improved, with the refurbishment of the existing building improving the thermal perfomance of the building envelope, and the new extension proposals targeting zero energy use. The on site construction was phased to allow the club to continue to operate during college term time. Planning was granted in 2014 and phases 1 and 2 were completed 2015. Final phase is awaited on site
